Yle is a teenager of thirteen years old who lives in a wooden house in the mountains of Pistoia, in the so called “Valley of the Elves”.
In the valley there is no electricity and the water comes from the springs. It’s a community started in the ’70 with the occupation of the land.
She was the protagonist of Corpo Celeste and these photos are a short story of her life into her commnunity, with her mother and brothers.
Yile è una ragazzina di tredici anni che abita in una casetta di legno nelle montagne pistoiesi, nella cosiddetta “Valle degli Elfi”. Nella valle non c’è elettricità e l’acqua viene dalle sorgenti. E’ una comunità nata negli anni ’70 con l’occupazione delle terre. Yile è stata la protagonista di Corpo Celeste e queste foto sono un breve racconto della sua vita su nella comunità, insieme alla madre e al fratellino.
